About

All the Bands was created at Yay Brigade in the spring/summer of 2019.

The code was written by Jack Greenberg. It was Jack's first serious React project and he rose to the challenge heroically.

The design was a collaboration between Jack and Roman Jaster, who conceived of the project while on a retreat at Salmon Creek Farm. The idea grew out of Roman's long-standing desire to collect — in the post-physical music era — all of his favorite bands in one place.

Your favorite bands are accessible publicly. Any guilty pleasures might be discovered by other people.

We are committed to keeping your personal data secure. All API requests are done over HTTPS. Because we don't collect much information in the first place, there is no risk of any sensitive data leakage. We store passwords securely as hashed values is a secured database. We recommend using a unique password for your account (and for every account you have in general).
